The Awareness Project is an online training program that provides in depth discussion and advice regarding how to facilitate quality of life for people with developmental disabilities by making a commitment to best practices and maintaining integrity. The program contains narration by Lisa Giraldi and the staff and clients of PDS. We illustrate our points by including documentary footage of our clients in action at work and in their community.
The Awareness Project was made possible by The Special Hope Foundation and all of the other generous funders of Pacific Diversified Services. The filming took place with permission of all the participants in the years of 2009, 2010 and 2011. The project was completed in 2011.
We are providing this training free of cost to you, but we would greatly appreciate a donation to help cover our basic costs for hosting and maintaining this The Awareness Project.
